NJ’s Real Republicans vs. NJ’s RINOs
FOR IMMEIDATE RELEASE
It can be hard for Republicans living in New Jersey to separate the “real” Republicans from those who are Republicans In Name Only (RINOs). In the 7th Congressional District the choice is a clear one.
Incumbent Leonard Lance may be able to talk the talk on the campaign trail, but his disgracefully low score with Heritage Action ranks him well below the Republican average in the House of Representatives. He earned this rating for his many votes cast with his Democrat counterparts and against the real Republicans in Congress, such as voting to increase the debt ceiling and NOT to defund Obamacare. In a state where RINOs reign, voters in the 7th Congressional District have the opportunity in the June primaries to rid New Jersey and the rest of the nation of at least one RINO in the House of Representatives.
The good news is that DAVE LARSEN has entered the primary race. Larsen offers the voters a real choice for a real Republican. As an accomplished businessman, Larsen understands what it is like to live and work in the real world. He understands the impact ObamaCare makes on both businesses and our citizens and that it must be replaced with an alternative that lowers cost and increases choice. Unlike his opponent, Larsen can be trusted to vote against ObamaCare at every opportunity.
RoseAnn Salanitri, President of the NJ Tea Party Caucus and of the Skylands Tea Party, commented on why her organization decided to endorse David Larsen. She said: “The NJ Tea Party Caucus is comprised of leaders of well-informed and influential conservative groups throughout the State. We unanimously voted to endorse Larsen because we understand the danger of the status quo and those who perpetuate it. We have known David for a long time and believe he is not a crony capitalist who will say and do anything just to get your vote and then compromise when it’s time to cast his vote. We also took it into consideration that David has signed on to the platforms of Team NJ, which only opens its doors to candidates of high moral character and has identified key issues that should be of concern to all New Jersey citizens. Real Republicans are hard to find these days, and we believe David Larsen to be the real deal and not just another RINO looking to perpetuate his own career.”
Dr. Al Frech, Vice President of the NJ Tea Party Caucus and President of the North Jersey Regional Tea Party, stated: “This election cycle is critical to the survival of our liberty-loving nation. While many think of the General Elections in November as ground zero, the real battles are fought in the primaries. It is then that our citizens have the chance to oust their Party’s career politicians and replace them with real citizen representatives, as our Founders intended. If we don’t engage in the primaries, we will find ourselves again faced with voting for the lesser of two evils in November.”
The NJ Tea Party Caucus is happy to endorse David Larsen for the June Republican primary. It is our hope that the good citizens of the 7th Congressional District will be ready to make a real change - a change that the country needs.
